fox float r / rc2
Koiler

right, im seriously considering getting one of the above to go on my coiler.
ive had enough of the current forks (2006 drop off 4s)
i know the forks ive got arent the best anyway, but in real terms, how much better are the float r / rc2?
will it be a worthwhile upgrade?
also, the rc2 is about £120 more expensive. is the only difference the high/ low speed compression adjustment? is this worth the extra?
(ive read in several review that the range for adjustment isn't wide enough. so theres not much point in it. anyone using one that can tell if this is true?)
bearing in mind that the coiler is my only bike and im trying to make it as versatlie as possible. im looking for something that will be nice and smooth over small bumps/ roots etc but stiffen up when landing jumps or drops. - is this where high and low speed compression come into it? :?
thanks in advance,
ben

High speed compression adjustment can be very useful to tune the fork behaviour on big hits and square edge impacts. Low speed governs how it acts under pedalling loads, G outs, fork dive. The fork should be a step up from what you have. Consider the RS Lyrik too.0

ok, been looking some more.
out of the following, which do you reckon is better (value for money/ performance)
im looking at the Float R (cheapest)
http://www.evanscycles.com/products/fox ... k-ec019609
the float Rc2 ( is the extra adjustability worth the extra cash over the standard float?)
http://www.evanscycles.com/products/fox ... k-ec019610
lyrik solo air (170mm, might be too much. bike has 150mm currently)
is it possible to reduce the travel of the lyrik to 160/150mm? adn would it be worth it? or are the foxs better?
at the moment, im swaying towards the Rc2 but i dont really know why.
are there any offerings from marzocchi that would be comparable to the above?

Lyriks can be reduced and would be my choice. the mission control damper is excellent.0
