Thursday it is
Today I am off to the dentist to get my molars repaired. I chipped two on the left of my mouth from grinding my teeth in my sleep.
So, other than that it's just another mediocre day at work and another day closer to the weekend..

Anything exciting happening today girls and boys?

I'm attempting an upload onto our systems today that in theory "should work".... wether it will or not is another question!
  • Today I am waiting for the Argentinians to wake up, before I destroy them. Bwuhahahaha.

    After that, maybe a snack.

Weathers gone a bit colder again. Going out for a ride anyway. Nothing too harsh, I'm way unfit right now.

That bloody volcano means no flights in and out of Norway, which means a bunch of small parts for work I'm waiting for will take a freaking age to arrive. Either by road or waiting till they can fly in again.
  • today its rather brisk but the sun is shining,so I think I shall mow the lawn then have some lunch and go out for a 30 km ride
I assume this is French petrol - be careful in reverse - the car will retreat rapidly at the least provocation.

Today I will be trying to iron this knot out of my back - On the plus side it was good enough reason to pull a sicky - Walking around and grimacing at customers like a pissed off Quasimodo wouldn't of been good for business :D

    Morning all,

Today I will be mostly chuckling about the fact that my boss is out in Holland on a training course and was due to fly back today, not looking good for him.

Slightly warmer ride in this morning than yesterday. Was looking like it was going to be a quick time in until the last half mile where I got caught at all 3 sets of traffic lights in the high street near work. Bugger.

Might go and get a coffee in a minute.

    Is it 5 yet?

    Morning ball bags,

Just got in from a ride, jacket came off after about 10mins, nice crisp feel in the air. Wasn't really feeling it today, load of phlegm on the chest, lovely. Managed about 10 miles before i got fed up.

Marmite on toast is on the way, and a cup of tea to wash it down with.

My rear shock has developed a little squeaky noise on today's ride, hopefully nothing too bad.

    Good Morning Freaks!

Sugar levels were too low when I woke up this morning for me to ride to work. :( Still, having a Mars bar for breakfast is a rare treat. Still awaiting for all my ordered stuffs to arrive. Hopefully they'll be here for the weekend's fettling session.

    Morning everybody!
Well, i almost got run down by Gordon Brown and his stupid motorcade yesterday drivin through Leeds, scattering traffic left and right  He's lost my vote :P

Today I am looking at roof racks on eBay, and also for a new rear shock. I took mine off the Diamondback yesterday, (Yes, I own a diamondback  ) and discovered it had a 750lbs spring. So today, I'm seeing if it's possible to get something to replace it with.

Tonight I plan on washing the car, that's if I can see with all this volcanic ash blowing over (I don't have a window in my office so don't know if it's gone dark, and the world is ending outside)

thekickingmule, that reminds me, I nearly got flattened by some twunt in a BMW this morning. Big round about, I was going straight so stayed in the middle of the left lane, BMW is coming from behind and goes round my right side and cuts across me to turn left, fist full of brake, missed him by about a foot, bit of blue language from me, BMW drives off into the distance to his obviously important sales meeting.

I think I need a bag of spanners on my handlebars, to throw at people, Dodgeball style......

 That's brilliant. I started reading them all, got half way through April thinking the newest one must be about now, to discover that's in 2008!

BR from work! How? I am now connected to our "Guest" network which excludes me from work apps and shares but gives me unrestricted Internet access.
Result.. I'll only switch to it during lunchtime as I don't want the Admins knowing that I'm taking the p!ss plus running another WEP crack is a ballache

I slept most of today, (beats getting angry) its now day 6 of no smoking and I think I've peaked, I'm not craving as much but I think i may just be an irritble person with a short fuse and smoking chilled me out :? I have got work in an hour and we had a change around in the office yesterday and insttead of being able to look out the window I have a brick wall and am sat next to the boss  no more slacking!

Only 2 days now till i have a week off to go snowboarding, we're driving across to Austria so that should be a laugh :D

my riding plans for the weekend may have just been thrown out the window thanks to a massive cloud of volcanic ash.

clients are unable to get into the UK so are arriving tomorrow night instead for a meeting. It's a long flight so will probably have the meeting Saturday/Sunday, which means no riding for me :(

This is the 2nd time this year a cloud of volcanic ash has annoyed me (seriously). Caught a very nasty chest infection in Hawaii at New Year as some volcanic ash passed over our island. I did wonder why everyone else buggered off indoors!
