Prefered the Ragley if I'm honest.

Take it your ass was not getting along with it then?
  • Nah it was too hard and flat for my butt!

You can really tell the difference between a £90 saddle and a £30 saddle though! (even though the WTB only cost £30!) The quality is excellent!
  • Nice saddle in the flesh, I was looking at that one a while back. You got a full bike shot with the new saddle?

I see you couldn't resist the red bottle cage bolts! hee hee

Did you use the washers that came with them?

  • Da Mighty Chicken

are you not tempted by white crud guards? i have them on my p7, they look sweeeet :)
It's not the will to win that matters...everyone has that. It's the will to prepare to win that matters.

glad to see your actually using your custom built beauty and enjoying it Ben!

rather than just building it, looking at it and then selling it for no reall reason to fund another build.like some people (*cough*Da Mighty Chicken *cough* CWNT*cough*The big Cheese*cough*)

    Excuse me? Looking at it?

Are you on crack? I commute on mine every day of the week. I also do at least 3 long rides a week. It's been all the way over to the UK to go to Llandegla, has been in a DH race and in 3 days time, will be back in the UK for Cannock chase and BR Live.

I think it gets used more than most. I was only *considering* selling because a bike I've always wanted had come up for sale.

So nar nar ne nar nar :P

DMC's not selling his though, and he's not finished building it yet so you can't say how often he'll ride it.

you don't even have a "your mtb" post so until you get pic up of what I can only imagine to be "the best ever in the world 456" with your amazingly high standards and the lack of love for other people rides.... STOP TALKING SH!T!!

so, d'you reckon you can compensate by dropping the bars and whatnot for the climbs?
  • Yus deffo :)

I fancy some 700mm low rise bars but i'm going to try one more time with the Eastons becaues they've been great so far...

I'm going to drop a 10mm spacer for the time being which should help, but tbh it wasn't too bad!

Also means I can stand and lift the front over stuff much much easier... i actually prefer climbing steep trails stood up!

plus I made it to the top of the bast@rd fireroad climb at Whinlatter fine!
