    Saw it last Wednesday.

Seeing it again today. Brilliant film.

Some other friends want to see it next Wednesday too... It may overtake Watchmen as my most watched in the cinema film.

What difference does the amount of films you own or have seen make to what two different people think of the same film?

the bloke who wrote that review probably likes (dogshit) films like the english patient and pulls himself silly to peter pan (the version with dustin hoffman who he admires due to his proximity to young actors during the filming).

me thinks the lady doth protest too much.

he is assuming that folk who go to see films like kick ass, do more than remove their minds and watch some hilarity combined with some awesome fight scenes (seriously, the fight scenes are as good as any in film in my opinion). most people who watch this film are doing so as they assume it will be funny and action packed.

these folk will not be dissapointed.

that reviewer is a fucking idiot.

    from the DM:
If Kick-Ass proved so traumatic to you, I can only suggest that you re-consider your vocation as a film critic, for the sake of your continuing mental health
I think the main problem here is that a film can only appear as intelligent as the viewer attempting to understand it.
    I feel sorry for you.
Best article i've read in years! Laugh? I almost wet myself! Dear god,
