adjusting brake hose

just gone from a 90mm to a 60mm stem so need to shorten the rear brake hose.
so do i cut it with a normal cable cutter or is there a special hose cutter i need to use or can i just ues some electrical wire cutter.

    you really dont need to shorten it, itll just mean having a few mill extra loop, often not a bad thing... also, if you want to change back you have to buy a whole new hose.

    Agree dont bother unless you have miles of spare hose.

    If your set on shortening it a good set of sharp cable cutters will cut anything up to and including Goodridge braided steel hose
