Was just about to push the buy button on Hope Tech M4's f&r for my ride. Have found them for 114each - obviously without rotors.
Just wondering, before I commit, anyone have any alternatives, for around that budget or cheaper even?
Reason I have gone for the ones mentioned is great modulation, tried and trusted, easy(ish) for maintenence...
Just wondering if any one may have ideas for alternatives?

I agree, M4 is overkill.0

I disagree.
The M4 is a great brake and as you say has amazing modulation but don't bother with one on the back.
Get an M4 for the front and an X2 for the back0
