Hi, I've been looking for ages, and cant seem to find a pair of 3/4 waist tights that are padded...
Its either full length waist tights, or 3/4 bibs!

I would be grateful if anyone who knows of any 3/4 padded waist tights.
I have a budget of £50.00

Thanks.

    Like these? http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=16445

Depending on your intended use, probably not the best pad for long rides.

Why would you want waist tights ? I'd never swap them for my bibs.

    I'm no lady!

Nah, it's just the bib I have is very fleecy unpadded and quite a bad fit,
As i have a short upper body and longer legs.

So I thought Id try some Spring/Autumn waist tights...

    Bad decision?

They'll sag. You dont want a saggy crotch.
  • I am a 6'4" hairy legged roadie so appreciate the benefits of 3/4 length knicks - I don't want to see that much hairy leg and they are mine, so I am sure my workmates appreciate the slightly more modest attire between when I arrive ar work and can get in to shower and change.

    I have two pairs.

One from Netti http://www.netti.com.au/Capri-Nix/default.aspx that are summer weight. I go through phases with these, sometimes I like, sometimes I don't. They are a good commuting option, but I wouldn't recommend them for longer rides.

The other pair from Ground Effect http://www.groundeffect.co.nz/product-d ... ON-LON.htm are a winter weight. These are my standard winter commuting attire and cope with sub-zero temperatures, but weren't too warm commuting in 14 degree celsius temperatures this morning. Ground Effect make summer weight 3/4 knicks for women, but not men.
