Stumpjumper HT tough enough

Hi

First post on here, learnt everthing I know on this forum.

However, recently purchased 24lbs Stumpjumper HT Comp to replace my Marin Rocky Ridge HT.

I mostly ride local bridleways and not getting the best use out of the 140mm fork hardcore Marin.

My concern now is the nimble stumpy tough enough for trail centre red routes (no black stuff).

Thanks.

it's strong enough for small drop offs (under 4ft) landed smoothly into a transition and small jumps. depends on how heavy you are and how smoothly you ride

If you don't feel you're pushing your Marin hard enough, the Stumpy should be fine.

I don't do any loony drops but I do work my Stumpy hard - only bits I've broken have been due to big mileages and wear.

I wouldn't ride one hard if over 12 stone with mad jump tendencies though.
