  • Hi, welcome to the forum.

Sorry, but you'll need to be a little more specific than that.

What frame are they going on?
When you say heavyweight, how heavy?
Do you have a preferred amount of Travel you're looking for?

Almost any fork will support a 100 kg rider for XC.

Or Rock Shox Reba's although, I would always choose Fox's but thats just because I prefer the feel of fox's

i weigh 107kg and came off my bike the other day, i was was on a xc course and did a drop off less than a foot high and hit a ridge in the ground, i bent my front wheel beyond repair and bent my front forks.......fox float 32 rl 140mm travel, so personally i wouldn't recommend them!!

I am very surprised at that. I know people who use those forks that are heavier and do bigger drops/jumps and have never had a problem.

Possibly the wheel helped to damage them but as with anything, sometimes they do just break. Like with a frame, if a frame breaks/cracks, does that mean you will say never ever get it?
