Reuse a headset?

If you remove the headset cups from one frame, are the cups then rendered useless with them being a press-fit? Or, if there is no damage to the cups, and providing that the headtube is the same size etc., can you use them again in another frame?

No worries, I've used my Hope one on two frames and have a Chris King sat in the shed that's been on two other frames
