Fabsil is really for tents etc - it will stop the fabric from breathing

You really need either Nikwax TX wash in proof or Grangers 30degree wash in proofer or DX spray proofer

If the jacket leaks, it has failed (probably delaminated) - no treatment will restore its function (i.e. breathable and waterproof). Time to make a warranty claim or buy another one.

Nikwax Tech Wash and TX Direct will reproof it.

Often when people think they are leaking they aren't.

It's because they need the DWR coating needs refreshing. The jacket is simply wetting out externally when it rains instead of the water beading off which stops the fabric from breathing so condensation builds up on the inside.

Often simply washing the jacket in a Granger or Nikwax wash product and then tumble drying it on a low heat is enough to bring the DWR back to full strength.
