setting sag

hi

when setting the sag on my fork should i be sat back in the saddle or in 'attack' position

    it depends on how you ride your bike and what the type of bike it is.

  • thanks, the videos are really useful.

    ive got an 09 giant anthem x3 that i just upgraded the forks to rockshox sid team.

    im riding at trail centres dalby, gisburn, lee quarry, but also some natural routes in the peakdistrict.

    the reason i ask is that when setting the sag sat down on the saddle i dont feel as though i have much weight on the forks and had to set the psi quite low (around 50psi - i weigh 70kg- the manual suggests around 100psi for my weight) to achieve 25% sag but as soon as i stood up out of the saddle the forks compressed down quite alot

    Ok the team is Dual air.

  • yeah thanks read it already, its just my body position on the bike when setting it, ill just experiment a little and see how i get on!
