Arrrr! I'm not a pirate, but they all start with R! I'm trying to buy an aggressive trail / light all mountain bike to ride fast and hit some stunts and 5-6 foot drops. I narrowed it down to three (kinda):
Maestro:
2010 Reign 1 (giant)
DRCV:
2010 Roscoe 1 (fisher, built by trek)
2010 Remedy 7 (trek)
What do YOU like, and why?
I don't really like the triad and geometry of the Stumpjumper FSR Comp (140mm travel), and I'm considering the Kona Cadabra but I don't know very much about it!

Have you tested them?0

I tried the Reign 1 and the Remedy 7 in a store parking lot. They both felt pretty good, but I liked the feel of the Reign better when peddling. Still, it's hard to get a good idea without having it on the trails.0

The DRCV is the shock design - the actual suspension configuration is a low single pivot with concentric axle pivot which can help braking performance.
This would probably make it prone to bobbing a bit more than the Maestro, but with less pedal feedback early in the travel.0 -
yeah, you're right. I forgot to mention that the reign has a DHX, wheras the others have RP2-DRCV but I think it was the maestro design that I noticed while accelerating, not the actual shock.
I'm still torn between which bike to get!0
