He rode for ONCE who had no interest with the PAVE.
He looked good as he disappeared off the road on the Cormet de Roselend that time.

Demol had a lucky win at Paris-Roubaix but that's the only tenuous connection to the cobbles

Tell the truth now. If you could do something like this AND make a bunch of money, wouldn't you be out there with the same corny stuff??? Nobody is forcing YOU to buy, or even like it for that matter, but I'm sure he will sell his fair share to whomever. As for who buys this stuff, well, I don't know, but does it matter???? Maybe the people who buy it are the same people who buy all those stupid exercise contraptions????

That day in 1988, at the finish, Sean Kelly, twice a winner 1984 & 1986, said "anyone who wins Paris Roubaix is a great rider". Thomas Wegmueller was no slouch and Fignon in his prime- a double Milan San remo winner in those 12 months, couldn't get them back. I'd be in awe of any Paris Roubaix winner.

You could of course argue that anyone who wins Paris Roubaix has been lucky

Really? Well, I guess maybe I'm a bit more greedy than yourself. I sort of figure that if someone wants it, I'll sell it to them. Whatever IT is. My only problem is that, like you, I can't believe people will pay money for that stuff. Then again I myself have, on occasion,
bought an item or two that my wife lovingly refers to as "A fine piece of sh*t".
