pedal advice

new to road biking and i dont want to start with clippless pedals. i want to buy a pair a lightwieght flat pedals so i can get used to the bike and then move on to clippless pedals. any ideas?

    The platform side is a good size and quite grippy, and you get an SPD on the other. Not too weighty, nicely made too.

    Another good thing about those pedals, you can get some spd shoes then use the flat side around town and other places you're not sure of then clip in for the open roads when you're not going to have anything else to worry about.
