Hi guys, my once-a-year log in to ask advice!
I've just fitted one of these :
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... odelID=247
but the connecting link is VERY stiff - I've ridden it and sprayed it with GT85 but it still skips every revolution and sometimes even changes gear
Any advice?
Also, I'm not sure it's the right length.
My Chainrings are 22-42 and my cassette is 11-32, how many links should I have?
thanks!

Assuming you fitted it correctly, flex the chain laterally about the stiff link - usually frees them.
Chain length: See FAQ.0 -
around both big rings with the rear mech and add one full link.
waggle the stiff link to loosen it or back the pin off a bit with the tool.

Or just stick in a powerlink, or even better a KMC chain connector.
I never got on with repinning chains. Why would I care about 150g of bike weight, I just ate 400g of cookies while reading this?0
