That told me...

Am replacing ageing Orange 02 - has been great but am now looking for a new hardtail.

Orange loyalty draws me to a P7 Pro (had a Clockwork previously and did like steel frame) - but the reviews make the Whyte 905 look very tempting....

Thoughts ?

    The P7 is obviously steel - and quite long travel with the 140mm fork.

    The Whyte has a svelter alu frame, and less travel. Both are designed for fairly hard riding though.

    Can you test them?

    Was going to try and see if Rutland Bikes will let me take them both out for a spin - I guess that will help answer it - am a few weeks from actually making a purchase so it would be good to get a some views before taking the plunge ..
