Hi - need to replace my Record 10sp chain and wondered if necessary to buy this tool or the Park CT-4.2 to do the job? Or anything else cheaper just as well? Thanks ....

I've changed a few Campag chains with a conventional chain tool no problem I do rejoin with a quick link though.

So one for shimano chains would be ok? Just dismayed at the price of the campag one, in particular ... I have the KMC missing link for campag ...

I split with any chain splitter, but always use the KMC quick link.

Yes, I've got an Ice Toolz workshop chain tool but there is a thread HERE where someone has had problems
