helmet cams - follow on thread

a good point brought up in an earlier thread re lower res and higher optics vs higher res - what is the best Helmet cam option looking at optics, durability, cost and resolution?

Im still swaying towards Contour Hd 720.... any thoughts - gopro does look good but would seem too exposed due to shape. (it would be helmet mount)
