Hi all ive got a Boardman comp fs mountain bike and when i go over a certain speed about 13 mph i get a sort of grinding sound from my front wheel. The sound is quite hard to explain but it is sort of like grinding. However when i go slow 10mph it dosent happen
If anyone could help it would be great

disc rubbing on the caliper?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

i dunno tbh it does sound like it is grinding around the brake part but im not very good with mechanics or anything like that tbh. It think it might be the bit where the disk goes through a little black thingy lol

Pics? try holding the bike and spinning the wheel, so you can see where the sound is coming from. does the disk look scratched? what is the brake?0

Will get some pics tommorow but im quite sure now that the sound is coming from the brake but it seems wierd that it is only happening over about 15mph
the brake is Avid Juicy 3 hydraulic disc and it dosent look scratched or anything like that, just making me a bit worried that something might happen when im riding the bike.
If it is the brake calliper can anyone explain how to adjust it etc????0 -

yes it is all in the manual (downloadble from srams webby) or on Parktools."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Hi all, had a look at the caliper and it wasnt that, i washed everything and then heared it more clearly for some reason near the quick release thingy (lol)
So i took the wheel of and put it back on and put the quick release little handle in a differant position and it isnt doing it anymore!!!
Thanks for all your tips guys
