Ha! That was simple - to put your mind at rest anyway, I was going to suggest a Spoon too, probably along with most people here also! :) must be the most recommended saddle there is! can't fault mine.

I just got a SPD Bel Air RT for £13 posted which was recommended by someone on here. Has a little hole in back but hardly noticeable.

I have still got a sore bum from last weeks ride.
Will this saddle be more comfy than the supplied Spec. Rockhopper 09 saddle? It (spoon) doesn't look much but it seems to get great reviews.

Not bought anything for 2 days so............

Comfort's all relative... Spoon's a great saddle but it won't fit everyone. I get on better with the Knife, which is narrower and has even less padding and only a little shaping, but fits me better so it's more comfortable despite all that.

Thing with the Spoon is they sell used for £15-£20  So no great risk.
    Uncompromising extremist
  • Recommend the charge spoon also

Previously had various SDG saddles and it is just as good but much cheaper.

    £1.25 for sign up http://www.quidco.com/user/491172/42301

Thanks but 'So no great risk' you didn't see my wife yesterday when something else arrived for the bike. Rock N Roll Extreme lube has arrived today and I have hidden that in case she uses it for something! I do see her point as I blow a fuse when another needless pair of £60 shoes or bag is purchased.... I still have a chain cleaning thing and more tops to arrive - heck!
  • cheers folks,

bought a new spoon for £21 deliverd on ebay (brown) looks very expensive, weighs nothing and feels great, result.
