Lapierre Bottom Bracket Question

Like others have reported, I'm finding the frame on my 2010 Lapierre Zesty fills up with water after a ride in anything but dry conditions. I've read reports of BB failures from this.

If I take the cranks off, can you actually get into the bearings and clean and repack them or does the seal mean it's replace only? I've noticed just a hint of graunchiness spinning the cranks with the chain off. Being a carbon frame, I dont want to try pressing the old bearings out and pressing new ones in - I'll let my dealer take that responsibility, but is can I repack the BB with grease without pressing the shells out?

    they are a sealed unit.
Is it the seat tube that is filling with water?

so after a wet ride drain the water out.

Damn..... Never would have thought of that. Thanks.

    :P :P

So no point trying to service the bearings. Guess I'll wait till they get worse then ask my dealer to replace them. I have access to a hydraulic press but really don't fancy messing with it given the reports of BB cracks on Carbon Lappy's.
