Road Tyres For MTB Rims

I currently have Schwalbe Racing Ralph tyres on my bike but am doing the London to Brighton bike ride this year and need some road tyres....any suggestions as to what tyres to go for?? 8)

That seems like a pretty good deal. Not used those myself though. I've used Continental Gator Skinz, which were fine and grippy in the dry, and extremely puncture resistant. Not quite so good in the wet.
I've also used Halford's own brand slicks in the past - only lasted about 9 months before the side casing started to split.0 -
I bought some of these from Merlin continental-gator-skins. They roll like you wouldn't believe i'm happy with them overall.0

I've covered a good 1500 miles commuting on these - absolutely fine. Only puncture when a shard of glass managed to get through the tyre but otherwise faultless and very cheap!Faster than a tent.......0 -
