Pick the 2 best in any sport (including sub disciplines)(not left footed footballers who play on the middle right) and argue, just add in and argue you point for them. I'd say mine are almost irrifutable. No eras, just them as your first '2 on your sheet' for quality and doing that over a significant length of time without sentimentality.
