Carbons or stick with Aksiums

Hi To All, names Paul, only just joined Bike Radar been cycling to work for a couple of years and doing longer runs, I'm 5' 11" and about 15 stone, my summer bike is a Cinelli Experience running Aksiums and Shimano Tiagra, my winter bike is a Btwin Sport 3 'leisure' bike with campag (entry level) Campag Khamsin wheels, and the infamous TRIPLE chain rings (bloody idle) and not a bad piece of kit (what do you all think of Decathlon!!!!!), averaging about 16 MPH (26kmh) on flat runs and slower over the hills of the West Midlands, looking at a set of carbon wheels from Planet x, anyone using these, and is it an easy change to tubs from clinchers, being on the heavy side will the carbons hold out, or am I best sticking with the Aksiums, Many thanks to all, like to hear from you Midlanders and all take care and safe cycling!!!
