Shall I get the same pedals

As in my previous post, I am getting a brand new road bike. My old trusty Trek 470 (which I am keeping for winter and not so sunny days) is fitted with some Shimano A530 SPD, and I have only got 1 pair of shoes. What would you do, would you fit the same pedals on the new bike so that I don't have to get a new pair of shoes and cleat. Or would you get something different with another pair of shoes. I can't really justify to spend another ~£100 on shoes and I am quite happy with the A530. Not sure a more "racy" model would bring more to my cycling. Thanks

I'd only get the A530's if you intend to ride your new bike wearing trainers on occasion.
Thanks guys, i don't really intend to use trainers. I did get these pedals because they were recommended by another member on this forum. They were my first clip pedals so I was nervous to go for road pedals. So far i did not have any trouble, a couple of "almost-falling" where I had to stop suddenly. Like I have said i feel comfortable with them, my concern was mainly: would roady clipless pedals bring more power to my cycling? I think for now i will stay with the model I have got or maybe some M520/M540 if they are cheap enough

You might like to try Shimano A520 - very similar, but single-sided and therefore slightly lighter and racier(!). I use them on both touring and race bikes.
Chain Reaction - see http://tinyurl.com/ycn4xar - do them at £29.99, four pounds cheaper than the A530s.
Happy pedalling
