Marzocchi xc600 ata2 problem

I decided to put a bit more air in my forks.....only to find they pumped up hard (i only put a little air in) . After i tried to let air out using the air release button on the marzz pump which failed i then unscrewed the pump from fork and a substancial amount of fork fluid came out of the valve, probably a good 10ml, the fork is still operating and i can still pump them up but they seem to hit the end stop hard on full extension (i had to push valve in to release air out manually and then pump up again) the pressure guage is reading a very low pressure (10-15 psi) at the point where my forks seem to be at the normal hardness.
Have the internal seals failed...?

    what year? and which valve did you add the air to?

    2009 and i used the valve at bottom of fork on the brake side

    Please can anybody / nicklouse help me with my forks problem as per my first post within this thread, i am up for a ride this sunday and would appreciate any help / ideas that would enable me to sort this problem out for sunday, many thanks.
