Hello Guys / Girls.
Thought i would say hello to you all and actively seeking to take Mountain Biking up.
My name is Richard and currently living in the East Midlands nr Loughborough.
I currently dont have a suitable bike however have posted in the MTB Beginners Section for advice what to purchase. http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=15967704#15967704
So just thought i would say hello to you all, and all advice on bikes, equipment, and routes extremely welcomed.

Then do some shopping around and try out as many bikes as you can in your price range. Halfords are well worth a look for a first bike - the Carreras and Boardmans are great value and very well reviewed0 -
Hey Rickbus welcome to the forum!
I only joined a week or so ago, just bought a 2010 GT Avalanche 2.0 Disc and i am more than happy with it. Did a 7 mile reasonably tough trail on it last weekend, got caked in s**t and enjoyed every second of it. Remarkably confident bike even with a total novice sat in the saddle.
