    Anyone know what happened to Cav? Finished over 9 minutes down. Is he just trundling along to get the miles in?

    The latter, I guess. The stage had two cat 2 and three cat 3 climbs... Oscarito copes with that better than most sprinters.

    Anyone know why the peloton is so small in this race? I know a few have crashed out, but it currently stands at 83 riders. Lack of Spanish teams or lack of funds?
