Old frame requiring rear disc set-up?????

Currently got a Spesh hardrock Comp 1999 and want to put a rear disc onto it.
has anuone out there done such a thing or know of how to do it??Is it even possible???
Any help greatly appreciated.

    But if you read some forum posts, you'll see any adapters aren't exactly ideal and either front disc only or a suitable frame is the best ways to go.

  • I used one when Disc's first started to come popular on an old Kona frame, though it worked ok once set up, I think it would be better to start with newer frame that is made for a rear disk brake.
    This is why!
