It's the only way to justify spending 40 hours a week doing something you'd rather not be doing.0
-
i really want a new front wheel and brakes. only have £35 but i have been doing an extra round all week so i should get quite alot of money.0
-

You haven't got a spending problem. Instead you're just trying to help the economy0

It's money well spent.. in fact I wouldn't call it spending.. more like "investing" :¬)0 -
Can't spend any more money - just been to the opticians and my wallet needs some sort of bypass surgery. $105 just for the test!
Looking forward to getting my prescription Oakley GasCans though.0 -
I don't want to think how much I've spent in the last week for my "cheap" new bike The frame was a bargain, the wheels were a bargain, the mech was a bargain, the bars were a bargain, the bash was a bargain, oh hang on, this is quite a long list of bargains, how much how much aaaaaaargh.Uncompromising extremist0

I know the feeling. It seems I can only go a matter of 2 or 3 days without buying something...
I think I'm still in winter sadness mode or something!
AndyWhy so serious?0 -
I have got a brand new road bike, which after less than 400 miles needs new tyres, carbon bottle cages, new computer (to replace the new, but sh1te cateye HRM one).
Brand shoes have been bought, but I do NEED some decent base layers, extra shorts (3 pairs not enough), etc, etc.
I need to get the wife working full time again............ life too expensive0 -
its just the thought have a load of cash sitting there not being used it drives me mad atm, a new bike is out of the question for now i think so it may as well go to a good cause0

And keep spending when your a student you will be broke like a trooper! Looking at new bikes for a few months time, Mondraker and Lapierre, can't decide on 140 or 160mm bikes, gonna have to do some serious test rides lol0 -
I really have to tighten up...I've got two big stag dos and two weddings in the next 2 months (one wedding is in Canada!) so all my 'spare' funds are going towards those.
Although the Sram X.0 kit in tango orange keeps popping up in my internet search history and would look very nice on my Wolfridge.Santa Cruz Chameleon

Compare the RRP to the prices on that lot and you've saved about £17. There you go, you haven't spent anything, you've saved....Giant Trance X 2010
Specialized Tricross Sport
My Dad's old racer
Trek Marlin 29er 20120 -
Talking to a bloke yesterday and his mortgage is £1800 per month. Yes that's one thousand eight hundred pounds every month
Makes a bit of retail therapy on ChainWiggleMerlin seem pretty tame in comparison.0 -
get yourself one of those loyalty reward credit card. e.g. Play.com or Amazon.
for every 1000 points , you get a £10 voucher (only have Amazon one so this is base on that one), which make you feel slightly better when spending money knowing you are also collecting points....."It is not impossible, its just improbable"
