I've got a set of Marzocchi 55 r's and want to respray the Lowers in White, however stripping the Fork and re-assembling it sounds expensive and if I do it myself it void the warranty, has anyone sprayed the Lowers without strippping them down and done it in-situ? [with carefull masking] and if so what paint was used?
Any advice gratefully received.

Just take it to a powder coater/painters.I had one done a year or so back, and it only cost £25,dont risk mucking your fork up with a DIY paint job.
  • I was thinking of doing the same.

Question - when you took your forks to have them resprayed did you remove the lower legs beforehand and if so , did you also remove the seals ?
