I live in the UK, and until now I've been a fair weather cyclist but I'm going for my first cold weather ride next week.

I've got my
base layers
thermal tights
quality jacket

but which of these gloves would you recommend?

Just to let you know. It's not against the law to use a pair of ski gloves or just about any pair of gloves you have laying around for that matter. Whatever works. Have never bought cold / cool weather CYCLING gloves. Always used some old pair of ski gloves.
Always worked just fine. Then again if you must be stylish, well buy the skeleton ones
or can you get carbon fiber ones?:wink:

Thx dennisn..... it was only two days ago I put my ski gloves away as I won't need them this year. As you say they have kept my hands/fingers warm on the slopes :D

i got some raleigh stormchaser gloves for under a £5 in the bargain bin. maybe cos it said raligh. theyd keep an eskimo warm and youd need a chainsaw to beat the waterproofing.

Defeet won`t keep you warm in this weather, what you need is glove liners and something not bulky on top.
