Ok, so firstly, apologies if this has already been all over BR before now, but it's the first I've seen and heard of it, so it's news to me!!!

Secondly, I said some style. Not tons!

Ok, so are they not the COOLEST team cars E.V.E.R...??!!

They might be roadies, but they atleast got the vehicles sorted 8) Good ol' massive V8's, so they can obviously keep up with the fastest team....

Thats a pretty impressive roof rack, wonder how much drag is caused by that bad boy.
  • Meh.

    It's a petrol V8 going at 20 mph.

I don't think it's gonna win any efficiency prizes anyway, so why would they care about adding some bikes to the top...???

Didnt say it was just wondered how much drag would be caused because you can feel the drag with only two bikes ontop, theres like what 5/6 on there?
  • Errr... Petrol V8... Who cares!!! :lol::lol::lol:

And the driver isn't paying the fuel bill. I'd drive that with a sail off the back, still probably wouldn't notice...

Yeah you would notice if you had a sail on the back. I wasnt on about the pulling power etc, my ST pulls fine you can still notice it though especially with crosswinds.

Anyway how exactly do you know these are the V8 variants.

Jeez... Can you not tell by the stoopid smiley's I'm joking...?

    Cut me a break man!

And I think they are the V8's, as I saw a picture of the rear of the radio car - Jag XK maybe, and it had 4 exhausts, which, I THINK is an indicator of the V8.

But I don't know... So if I'm wrong, then don't lynch me, yeah?

Lynching will commence dont worry, but these arnt impressive cars they're just run of the mill Jags, if they were Bugatti Veyrons I'd be impressed ;)

We have that Jag estate! You can't get them in V8 config, only V6. We've got the 3.0 Sport Premium and it guzzles fuel like there's no tomorrow - so they won't get anywhere fast!
  • Ahh well.

I know the first Jag gets a V8 though!

    Meh.

I'm not an uber car geek, so I'll concede this one happily 8)

    FYI

The Jag X-type only comes in straight six and V6 config, with anything upto 3 Litres; naturally aspirated.

The XF, may well be an XFR - but why spend so much on a V8 - I expect it is the bog standard 2.7/3.0 Diesel - it would make more sense. Jags GUZZLE. But they're bloody good looking cars.

If you mean the XFR? Those slits in the bonnet give it away! But why bother with a V8 when you're parading around 'pussy' bikes.

Well, they ARE riding pussy bikes, so gotta retain some essence of manliness ain't they...?

Still think they should'a had a fleet of Aston DB9's though.... UBER cool! 8)

The one woth the roof rack is an X-Type so diesel engine'd or possibly a 3l V6 (no V8 in that one!!) :)

Tut tut. I reckon the 2.2D estate would be perfect; if I had the cash. Alas my mother's 3.0 does the job alreet.

I wouldn't mind a 3l X estate myself, but I love my 3L S manual :) I'd love an XFR though - fantastic engines, nice looking car and amazing interior.

Can't wait 'till they bung the 5L s/c lump into an XJ :):)
