Just feel England will lose, and probably on penalties. Its ok i am not on the wind-up or trying to cause friction. I'd actually like to see England do really well.

Meh, I doubt we'll win. But we should do well, if Rooney can stay on form, and with super-Joe Hart in goal, Capello's a decent manager too, better than bloody McLaren!

As for captain, if David James is playing then maybe him, if not then Gerrard or Lampard would make more sense for me.

Thankfully the brainwashing done by Sky regarding the prem (officially the greatest ever super duper league ever to have existed and pees over everything else) doesn't rub off on players otherwise they would give give the trophy to England and be done with it. Can't see past Brazil winning it (even over Spain...which is a shame as they are the best international footballing team in the world at the mo)

I saw people getting the excuses in early, this was England's world cup! It was meant to be! But not now, after losing the captain, otherwise it was in the bag.

It's easier when you're scottish. We're not going to win the world cup, because we're s***e-all use at football. Job done.

i just lolled all over my couch, if only Levien had said it, we'd be in for better comedy than the scotland team. no doubt we'll do our usual play out of our skins against spain, and get a good result, then get pumped 2-0 by Liechtenstein.
