Here's some pics of my beloved Enduro.

Had it new back in Sept '06, not much of the orginal kit remains, the whole forks and shock internals were warranty changed by Mojo back in '07 so it's just the frame (well, most of it) stem, sadle and brakes that are OE.

The rest of the spec is:

EN521 on Pro's
SLX chainset
Some smashed, worn smooth and still working DX pedals
Chris King headset
Hope QR and seat clamp
'09 X9 shifters
'09 X7 derailer
Easton seat post, Raceface bars.

I've talked about changing it loads of times, but I just have the suzzies serviced and change the bearings and it's like new again.

    Thanks both!

Didn't expect to get on reply for my old tub.

I'll be rebuilding the beat that lives in the CRC bag in the next few months - My custom build Cove Shockerrrr.
  • Hey P-Jay,

I also have an 06 enduro! mine is the s-works version which i think is the same as yours. I have found a crack in the weld on my non drive side chainstay which i need to get repaired, i noticed that your enduro has different coloured chainstays and was wondering if the same thing happened to yours? and if so, where did you get it fixed?

Nice build by the way!

PHATbaseline - Contact your local Spesh dealer, they will contact Spesh UK.. they usually have spare parts like chainstays laying about.

P-Jay - lovely bike.. the 06 Enduros are one of my favourite bikes ever, along with old SC Bullits. Ridden a few over the years, but never owned one myself.. yet ;) If you do think of selling it (or maybe PX-ing for a carbon HT..lol), give me a shout, I may be very interested!

Hi, it cracked after a big crash at Afan, gutted.

Anyway took it back to the LBS I got it from, orginally they said it would be covered under warranty, but Spesh only cover the front triange for life.

In the end it cost £80 for the new chainstay, including bearings and fitting.

I could have waited a few weeks for the right colour, but quite liked the Red, it's actually for an '08 SX Trail, but only the colour is different.

Hi, I've toyed with the idea of chainging it for years, but still haven't ha ha.

BUT..... I testrode a Lap Spicy a few weeks ago and was really tempted, I'll let you know if I do.
