.....went for a little ride along the cycleway on the sea front on my lunch break.

Sat in work, bored and the mood just took me. One of the benefits of riding in to work I guess.

Nice little 5 miler, mainly flat but with the sunken gardens giving the chance for some childish mucking about.

No idea why I dont do this more often. I usually spend lunch either working, or trawling through BR or youtube. This has broken up my day quite nicely and I now feel refreshed and ready for another 4hrs of skiving, errm, I mean working.

Anyone else do anything interesting on their lunch today?

  • In my lunch time, I read a little anecdote about a guy who'd just spent his break time riding his bike up and down the sea front!

I'm reading your post, will then read some others, probably look at my mtb club forum and footie forum, read some jokes. check facebook and msn. I normally go for a quick ride at lunchtime but this is normally reserved for the summer (when there's more eye candy :D)

  • I popped into Evans, frankly they had a very poor selection of bike porn on display today, however, and I probably shouldn't say this on an MTB forum, I was rather tempted by a Charge Plug messenger bike...

    And working for yourself! ;)

I ate my dinner and read the BBC news. I'm not sad enough to read through BR during my break, that's what I get paid for isn't it?

    Wait, it's not? Oh dear...

Internet and e-mails might be good, and getting better all the time, but you still can't email a parcel
