I only realised a couple of weeks ago watching top gear that Ken Block was a rally driver. I thought he was just a lucky investor, come millionaire.
Or maybe he's just a lucky invester, come millionaire, come I've got as much money as I want so I may as well buy a rally car and become a rally driver.0 -

I was once told a story about an owner of another well-known skate company. Who invited an old friend out to the states, and purely for entertainment, bought a couple of days of thunder style stock cars so that they could rag them about the desert for a week.

Do mountain rescue use anything like that? Seems like it would be a good idea, being able to get to remote places in snow, as well as drive on tarmac too.It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.
