wet or dry chain lube

Ok,

need to get some lube for the chain. For this wet gloopy sticky mud would wet or dry lube be best?

Dry lube: needs applying every ride, doesn't cover the drivetrain in cack

Wet lube: lasts ages, covers drivetrain in cack.

Wet lube for when it's wet

Dry lube for when it's dry!

Wet muddy conditions will wash-off dry lubes and your chain will rust. Dry dusty conditions will cause wet-lube to act as grinding paste.
