Is it advisable to put one of these:

...on a full-susser? :?:
I’m a little concerned about the additional load on the stem/mount interface due to the bobbing action inherent in such bikes.
Thanks for any input....

and how do the forces relate to a body weight gain?
dont worry about it."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

They're fine, just make sure you have a decent post.0

tack så mycket Nicklouse - you calling me a bloater?
I was going to give it a whirl anyway unless I was met with a wave of screamed warnings..

I got a cheap version of this from Tesco. I use it primarily on my commuter. This has a QR type lever used to tighten the rack onto the seat post, similar to the Topeak. I find that this is not tight enough, and when I bump up kerbs etc. the rack can move from side to side cauing it to rub on the tyres. This is not a major issue for me, but I presume you'll be going off road, so may be more relevant???
As a rack in itself they are very handy as they are so much easier to remove than a large rack, but if there are any available with bolt on method of locking it on, I would seriously consider it.
Obviously in a quality comparison between Tesco and Topeak there will only be one winner, but it may be worth getting hold of one for a look see before you part with your cash.0
