When someone is in the public eye , everyone wants likes to read about what has happend ..

At times I often wonder is it a good thing and is it really in public interest .. when consider the amount of people in this Country that upload vids of themselves to certain porn sites .
The media doesn't make an issue out of them nor does make an issue out of more important issues .
Yet as always this nation always likes knock those when they have made it .. plus Whilst everyone seems to mocking mr terry everyone fails to forget that it was the Ladies choice to play away .. doesn't that speak volumes of the man she was married/gf of ???
  • He ws playing away too wasn't he?

TBH, I always thought he was a closet gay

Ah, so it's Wayne Bridge's fault? Well I'm sure he's getting a press release ready where he'll no doubt apologise to JT and the public for not keeping his wife locked up in a cellar.

Colintrav - yip it was clearly Wayne Bridges problem.

The only thing i can conclude from this is the fact Wayne did the right thing and dropped her. She seems like a tramp.

As for Terry, he is a carcrash waiting to happen. I ve heard so many stories about him and Ashley Cole its not even funny now.

I feel for Wayne and this child involved in this. Sad that Terry went to great lengths to hush this up. I am guessing purely for financial reasons and the fact he will now no longer be deemed fit to captain England to the World Cup in South Africa.

Also think the tabloids are a disgrace, they just take delight in bringing it into the public domain. Somethings are best not heard, although saying that, it is refreshing to see a world famous footballer shown for what he is.............a complete cnut!

I think even talking about some overpaid retards private lives is a complete waste of brain space.

Seriously, does anyone really give a f**k?
  • Having not followed this story at all through the fact I have no interest in it, am I right in thinking that John Terry paid this girl he slept with so that she kept quiet?

If so, can he get a refund? :?

no no no wayne bridges is blameless, the two people at fault are JT and WB ex, after all it takes a certain type of person to play away. unless you know better and personally know WB and know something about him the rest of don't know, come on share.

    thought not.

colintrav youv'e never really bothered me before but the last few posts i've read from you just leave me thinking something else.

Given this latest revelation *clicky*, I think he's really in trouble now.

I think it's good that these injuctions and super-injunctions are being challenged. Even if it's something 'trivial' (but still utterly cnutish) like sleeping with your mates wife while yours is at home looking after the kids, it opens the door for more important things to stop being hushed up.

  • In terms of adult indiscrestions in his marriage I dont really care what he does but if we are led to believe this is habitual and he uses the court to protect a clearly false image of himself to safeguard business interests and onto this abusing his influence and wealth to carry out behaviour that is very boderline in its acceptability then I think serious questions need to be asked about Mr Terry and then it becomes public interest.
What interests me more though is the subjective nature of morality, how would we feel if he was a politician or how many times have we heard recently about the immoral bankers bonuses, there will be some people here cleary horrified by what he did - lied and cheated to his family which he claims he loves so dearly
As for the world cup I'm afraid I fall into the 'oh my god how is this gonna effect SA' camp
JT is am amazing player and leader on the pitch and to loose him and his skills would be aweful he has a fantastic ability as cleary demonstrated at weekend to rise up to adverstity and challenge, we need this :?

personally i'm not fussed by all these revelations in JT private life, after all it is his private life, i agree with the court on the super injunction, he took that out to protect himself financially. regardless of wether the guilty party is a sportsman, a politician, CEO, etc it is after all his private life and nothing to do with us, therefore it shouldn't affect his captaincy of the england team.

But if it means your lot go out in the first round, sack him

    :lol::lol:

Unfortunately, due to the increase in 'celeb mags' like *insert name here, because I don't know the names of them, but there's a huge selection at the supermarket checkout* and programmes featuring so called 'celebrities' eating insects in Australia, learning to ice skate, learning to dance, learning to sing, being stuck in a house together, then the answer is obviously quite a lot of people do...

I'm of the "who gives a f**k" opinion though.

No. Couldn't care less either. But from a football perspective I'm intrigued how the sh!t hitting the fan is going to affect him on the pitch. And it's good to see the possible end to the abuse of 'super injunctions'.

The only issues that I can see would be the 'backlash' if any from the fans. Having the team captain constantly booed (SP?) whilst on the pitch, doesn't do much for 'team moral'. And, if all the media hype around this story becomes a distraction from his training/playing.

Well his wife's allegedly divorcing him at this point. So If that pans out I'd say you've got the potential for a major head slump on and off the pitch. Unless he really didn't give a toss of course, in which case he'll go on as though nothing has happened.

good on the wife, if she is dropping him.

She deserves better, besides she is pretty fit by all accounts too

Not condoning his actions in any way... but Wayne Bridges ex Vanessa somethingorother is a LOT fitter than Mrs Terry
