I was nearly run down by Arki Busson two nights ago in Chelsea. Errors were fifty-fifty, I'd say.

I was going down the road when I came to one of those cobble stone round-abouts, and turned right as usual, but was unaware there was a car behind me. i was a bit distracted as it had been a heavy day. Normally, I indicate, but once you start turning, it's too late to start putting out your arm.

I was making the turn, and suddenly found a black Range Rover nearly on top of me. I shouted "What the hell you doing?" and a crowd formed, doorman from hotel etc.

Busson put down his window and told me I should have Iput my arm out. I informed him that he shouldn't be driving over round-abouts, on which he happened to be parked.

He said sorry and I accepted it. Could not see whether Uma Thurman was beside him, as I think they are back together.

What some might consider to be a very lucky man - he was Elle McPherson's boyfriend for 9 years and is the father of her two children. He is now engaged to Uma Thurman.

You probably won't be surprised to hear he's worth millions - has his own hedge fund.

My wife, a lawyer, expressed sympathy when I told her. Then added he 2should be good for compo". Actually, he seems to have lost a bundle with bernie Madoff

I can't think of anything worse than being with a woman who wanted me for my money. Though in the short term the hate sex might be fun.
  • Tens of millions, I'd say.

    He's also a geniune philanthropist.

[email protected] I hate him.

Well, he hosts a party every year which people pay a fortune to attend. Does he do more?
  • So he is probably in the minority of Range Rover owners who might actually need one, he probably has a country estate, if not an entire state somewhere.

It’s not like Uma Thurman is a tramp though.

    They have split up apparently!

This is his charity. I understand he has donated.

I think even that is very conservative, it'll be more than a billion

I'd never heard of him till now. I think the most famous person I might have a commuting altercation with is Jasper Carrot.

Plenty of footballers round by me, I see Maik Taylor (Blues keeper) in his Audi tank most mornings, he even stopped to let me pull out of a junction, which was nice.

I'd rather not have a run in with Stan in his car

Mine was Keith chegwin - he stepped out in front of me and I managed to avoid him = years before that the nice Hugh Skully stopped his car to let me and my sister cross the road - we were just little kids then and Skully was on our local telly.
