hope mono pad change

Trying to change my pads. Do I have to remove something before the pin holding the pads in will push out. Is it the r clips. How do you remove these

    pull and then unscrew the retaining pin.

    there doesn't appear to be any thread on the pin and the head on the pin doesn't imply that you use a screwdriver i'm still really puzzled

    Pin should just push out after the R clip is removed.

    remove clip with pliers. push pin through bore using small allen key. small force needed to unseat o ring.

    Sometimes a lot of force needed if you have never changed them, O-ring seems to get welded to the caliper, sometimes a drop (and I mean 1 drop) of lube can help free it up, lie the bike on it's side and let it seep in before you try to push it out.
