Model B Wheelset, Quick Question.

Just a quick question regarding the planet x model B wheelset. It states in the item description that they are 'shimano 10 spd compatible'. I have a specialized allez and the stock alexrims are, unsurprisingly, shocking. The bike has a 9 speed cassette etc. but ive heard from somewhere or another that a 9 speed shimano cassette will fit a 10 speed shimano freehub, provided its not dura ace? (Obviously these PX wheels are not DA).
Id just like to know for certain that the PX wheels wil/will not fit my bike?

Thanks :)

As far as i know there is a very thin spacer at the back of the cassette that you remove for 10 speed and leave in for 9 speed. In my opinion there is a good chance they will fit but as otherrs have said email PX.

The other way round I believe - spacer for 10, no spacer for 8 or 9.
Some Dura-ace 10-speed had aluminium freehub bodies with deeper splines to stop the edges of the sprockets digging in too much. The matching 10sp Dura-ace cassettes will only fit the aluminium Dura-ace hub, but otherwise 8, 9 or 10 cassettes are interchangeable on the same hubs.
