So I have recently bought a used RockShox reba team, and i want to get the air psi correct for my weight, i know that for my weight it should be at 110 psi, but i dont have a shock pump, and i was wanting to get one cheaply, but not so cheap it doesnt work. Is it posible to pump up the work using a normal pump, and an electric psi reader? or is that a bad idea?

  • You really need a shock pump. Sorry.

You will have a hard time getting a normal pump up to that sort of pressure.

Depending on your fork you may need to set the negative spring as well (RS = bottom of left leg - i.e below the positive one on top)

    Good brands, SKS, Fox, RockShox

    Hope that helps.

Also... you are better to set them based on sag rather than the recommended table, they are usually quite different resulting pressures.
