Being a hardcore fan of the Original ... to even remake such a cultastic show ..will be a very hard task indeed .

They do look a lot like the original characters, and will hopefully preserve their traits.

Now as for the new Knightrider series - that is dire!
  • I agree with SS it looks like it might be ok.

The new Karate Kid film though, should be considered sacrilegious!

It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

  • Rampage should be fighting Rashad, not making a fecking movie.

Looks like it could be alright thouhg... as long as its not a shit as the dukes of hazard!
  • WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

I know some of these remakes are good films but why not do something original??

I liked the A-team and this does look ok from the clips (don't they all) but please come up with something new.....

Even if it's aweful, it'll be brilliant - if you know what I mean.

I think every man of 30+ will be queuing around the block to re-live Saturday afternoons from their childhood.

I whole heartedly agree there is even a remake of the Greek mythology classic Clash of the Titan's ...

If they ain't re hashing old films or tv classic's ... then they are stealing from hong kong japan etc

Still it highlights the lack of creativity amongst Film director's , script writers and producers .,...It's on par with producers that constantly remix the same recognised club tracks ...

And look at the amount of rip off's that have spawned from the massive success of Buffy ,,

The bukes of hazzard was doomed from the word go ...and starsky and Hutch wasn't all that much better ,,, nethier was mission impossible ... imo was a disgrace ..

It is a universal rule that you can never better an original, and to attempt to 'remake' yet another classic cult show is just pure desperation on the part of the producers. Almost every movie, book, song or tv series that has been modernised and 'remade' has been deadful. Maybe a younger generation cannot understand that because to them, remade crap like this is all that they have ever known in their short lives..? It's also illustrates how very little genuine original talent there is in the world these days, though there are some exceptions of course.

In the names of George Peppard and Mr T, leave this classic alone!!!

    KK.

PS: I remember having a big crush on 'Amy' back in the 80's... but I didn't get out much back then!

    Remakes.....zzzzzzzzz.
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.
  • THe Clash of the TItans remake looks prety awesome from the trailer, the original was the bollox though if somewhat dated......

I always remember my weekends when i was a kid consisting of being sat infront of the tv cups of tea with snacks watching knightrider, airwolf, A-Team and streethawk.

    Yep, I'll be there.

TBH, with any film, if there's boobs, monsters/aliens, lots of guns, explosions and a car chase or two, I'm happy. :D
  • That looks like it's gonna be epic fail. Nothing could be a patch on the original.
