Got a coilover to plug into the frame and the RP3 won't be getting any use any time soon - should I take all the air out of her? Anything else I can do to ensure she's good to go in the future??

no need to let the air out (you dont let all the air out if its fitted to a bike do you?)
maybe just hang it up so that the can is at the top and the shaft is at the bottom so the oil in the can pools on the seals to keep em sweet...
even if the seals are no good when you come to use it again, an air can seal set is £10.0 -
i'm just thinking that the pressure is obviously upon the seals without them doing any work for the next 6months+ Should I give the seals a breather, so to speak? Wouldn't do any harm to leave depressurise the can.
good point about the oil. I'll stand it up in the tool box.0 -
maybe not take ALL the pressure out, but you could reduce it, maybe to 20psi or something, just to take the pressure of the seals... cant do any harm, and i would immagine taking the pressure of the delicate seals is a good thing.....I like bikes and stuff0

bare in mind they're designed to be under pressure...
as long as theyre bathed in oil they should remain fine...0
