I have a Specialized Tricross. I just greased the front hub, reassembled, and was packing everything away congratulating myself on a job well done, when I heard the depressing clicking of a bearing bouncing on the floor. Obviously no chance of finding it....and with Specialized's policy of never posting any info which might be useful to you in servicing their components, I'm now left wondering what size replacements to buy.

Anybody know?....I kind of assume it'll be the same size as Shimanos (3/16"?), but it would be nice if anyone knows the answer. These are cup and cone, b.t.w, not sealed unit!

It's what I put in mine when I stripped the hub on my Tricross single. Tried that and tightening the spokes when I had a knock from the front wheel and after all the above it turned out to be the computer magent & sensor making contact
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
