Mudguards for a Sirrus ltd

I've just bought an '07 Specialized Sirrus Ltd to use for my commute to work. I'm wanting to fit a set of mudguards and am after recommendations, I will be using 700x28 tyres. Any advice on what to fit or what not to fit will be gratefully received.

The only thing that puts me off the SKS cromoplastic ones is that I've heard they are a bitch to fit ?0

No more than any other guard. They have you got eyes for guards? If not then the new Cruds might be better.Neil
