Tektro brake help. Please!

Hi guys hopefully someone can help.
I'm running a tektro auriga comp brakes on my bike these http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=45186
They are suprisingly good, however i need to lengthen the hose on the rear so i thought i would go the whole hog and replace them with goodridge.
Problem is i can get the hose out from the caliper with no problems at all but when it comes down to the lever the hose will not come out no matter what i do.
Has anyone else had this problem if so can they help PLEASE!
I can't ride my bike at the moment and it's bloody annoying.
